If you are using S-Video from your video source to your television then
the VNF-CTV1S is for you. The S-Video Adapter Cable allows you to connect
"Caller-ID for TV" and keep the high
quality S-Video signal. Don't waste your time or energy walking over to the phone to see if the
phone call you are receiving is worth answering (i.e. phone solicitors).
"Caller-ID for TV", places caller ID information on your television screen.
Works with existing Caller-ID boxes. "Caller-ID for TV" requires
caller-ID
service from your local phone company. If you already have an
existing Caller-ID box, "Caller-ID for TV" works in parallel. You can have
multiple Caller- ID and "Caller-ID for TV" units throughout the house.
It's a breeze to set up, "Caller-ID for TV" plugs in to the telephone, the TV,
the VCR or satellite and that's it! "Caller-ID for TV" requires a TV or VCR with a
video input. You can choose whether caller-ID pops up on top of a TV
channel, Picture-in Picture (PIP), or its own screen by the way you
connect the unit. To pop up video on top of a TV picture, "Caller-ID for
TV" needs
a video source that contains the TV channel. Examples of video sources are
satellites, VCRs, laserdiscs, DVDs, video games, or video cameras.
"Caller-ID for TV" connects in-line with the video-out of the source with the
video-in of the TV. Even without a video source, "Caller-ID for TV" makes its own
blue screen with white letters great for picture-in-picture TVs.

works perfectly with antenna, cable or satellite systems such as DSS(r),
PrimeStar(r) and The Dish(r) Network.
